A short moment of time out

In order to make the course of therapy and radiotherapy as easy as possible for children in particular, the WPE has been using unusual measures since this year - such as a virtual playground and clown visits. Nico Sterr and Nicole Stember from the WPE's Psychosocial Service explain the context in an interview.

Strength in difficult times

Since this year, the WPE has been saying goodbye to its patients after their last radiotherapy treatment with a melodious ritual: children as well as adults can ring a bell in the foyer of the building as part of a small ceremony, literally bringing the therapy to a close.
